FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (February 26 2025) - ThriveWay is proud to continue its mission of empowering students and fostering positive school environments through peer support. As part of this commitment, ThriveWay is excited to announce the Fourth Annual 2025 Acts of Service Contest, celebrating schools that have successfully implemented the Peer Helpers PLUS program and made a meaningful difference in their communities.

This nationwide contest provides an opportunity to showcase the incredible ways schools utilize the evidence-based Peer Helpers PLUS program to foster positive youth development, support peers in need, and create lasting, meaningful impact. Schools are encouraged to submit nominations highlighting their innovative approaches and impactful success stories.

The 2025 Acts of Service Contest features four categories:

  • A Creative P.A.T.H. – Recognizing unique ways the P.A.T.H. component has been incorporated into the school community.

  • Show the Way – Showcasing campaigns or group activities that sparked a positive school climate and inspired students.

  • Be the Good – Highlighting moments when a Peer Helper identified and addressed the needs of another student.

  • Lend a Hand – Celebrating successful one-on-one connections through mentoring, tutoring, or buddy programs.

Each category winner  will receive a $500 award for both primary and secondary schools and will be eligible for the $1,000 grand prize.
