ThriveWay's 2023 Acts of Service Contest Winners Revealed!

The Peer Helpers PLUS program continues to transform lives across the nation, and ThriveWay couldn't wait to learn about the incredible impact through their 2nd Annual Acts of Service Contest! As a leading peer-to-peer prevention and support company, ThriveWay accepted nominations from educational institutions nationwide that have successfully implemented their evidence-based Peer Helpers Plus program. These schools have truly excelled in making a difference in the lives of their students and communities through this life-changing initiative.

They are thrilled to announce the overall winner of ThriveWay's 2023 Acts of Service Contest: Sardis Middle School (part of Etowah County Schools) for their outstanding submission of SMS Peer Helpers School Wide Challenges. They will be awarded $1,000 in recognition of their exceptional Peer Helpers PLUS program. Congratulations, Sardis Middle School! 

The 2023 Acts of Service individual category winners will receive $500 each and are as follows:  

Show the Way - Mass Inspiration Winners

Criteria:  Campaigns or group activities that sparked a positive school climate

Russellville High School (Russellville City Schools) for their Spring into Positivity and Healthy School Choices

A Creative P.A.T.H Winners

Criteria:  Inventive ways the P.A.T.H. component was brought to your school community (faculty introduction, student lessons, or parent communication)

East Limestone High School - Limestone County Schools - P.A.T.H by Kids for Kids

Be the Good: Meet the Need Winners

Criteria: An impactful time when a Peer Helper saw the need of another student and met it

Ardmore High School - Limestone County Schools - Being a Friend

Lend a Hand: Successful Connections

Criteria: Testimonies from one-on-one support (mentoring, tutoring or buddies)
