FAIRHOPE, Ala. — From building kindness campaigns to leading suicide awareness efforts, students across the country are stepping up to support one another—and ThriveWay is here to celebrate them. These student-led initiatives are more than just school projects; they’re life-changing acts of service that are shaping stronger, more connected school communities.
ThriveWay proudly announces the winners of the 4th Annual Acts of Service Contest—exceptional Peer Helpers from across the nation who exemplify leadership, compassion, and creativity through the Peer Helpers PLUS program. Each year, this program touches the lives of thousands of students, and these winners shine brightly as proof that even the smallest acts of kindness and support can spark lasting change.
🏆 2024–25 Overall Winner
Hoover High School – Hoover City Schools
Campaign: Suicide Prevention Campaign
The Peer Helpers at Hoover High School tackled one of the most pressing issues facing youth today: suicide prevention. Their campaign provided resources, raised awareness, and created a safe, open environment where students could talk about mental health. In recognition of their impact, the school will receive a $1,000 award.
