ThriveWay Announces 2026 Acts of Service Contest to Recognize Outstanding Peer Helpers PLUS Programs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (March 23, 2026) - ThriveWay is excited to announce the launch of its 2026 Acts of Service Contest, recognizing schools across the country that are making a meaningful impact through the Peer Helpers PLUS program. The annual contest highlights the creativity, leadership, and compassion demonstrated by students who work to support their peers and strengthen their school communities.

Through the Peer Helpers PLUS program, students gain the skills and confidence to encourage healthy choices, provide support to classmates, and promote positive school climates. The Acts of Service Contest celebrates these efforts by inviting schools to share stories of how their programs are making a difference.

The 2026 contest features four categories designed to highlight different aspects of student leadership and service:

A Creative P.A.T.H. – Recognizing innovative ways schools have incorporated the P.A.T.H. component into their campus culture.

Show the Way – Highlighting campaigns or group initiatives that promote positivity and inspire students to take action.

Be the Good – Celebrating moments when a Peer Helper recognized a need and stepped up to support a fellow student.

Lend a Hand – Showcasing meaningful one-on-one connections through mentoring, tutoring, or buddy programs.

Each category winner will receive a $500 award for both primary and secondary schools and one nomination will win the $1,000 grand prize.

Nominations are open now and will close on April 1, 2026. Schools are encouraged to submit entries highlighting the positive impact of their Peer Helpers PLUS programs.
